As an Electrical Project Engineer you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing capital projects for our industrial manufacturing client. Your expertise in electrical systems and engineering principles will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects, adhering to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables for capital projects with a primary focus on electrical engineering.
- Lead project teams, ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects from initiation to completion, while managing resources, budgets, and timelines efficiently.
- Apply your deep knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles to design, analyze, and optimize electrical components within projects.
- Provide expert technical direction to project teams, addressing complex electrical engineering challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including electrical schematics, drawings, technical reports, and change orders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems and components, adhering to industry best practices.
- Identify potential project risks and challenges related to electrical engineering, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in electrical engineering, including systems design, analysis, and optimization.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and project management tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Project management certification (PMP) or relevant credentials are a plus.
