Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to take on full responsibility of HR operations and help establish and develop the HR function from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage all aspects of HR, from onboarding to exits, benefits administration to training, and strategic initiatives to improve employee retention. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, adept at navigating complex HR challenges, and dedicated to elevating our organization's overall customer service and employee experience.


  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits, payroll, and time-off policies in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, promoting teamwork, and implementing HR best practices.
  • Oversee and manage all HR activities across multiple locations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex HR matters, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance, PTO requests, and other employment regulations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure all employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with founders to enhance the quality of customer service by embedding a level of service mentality throughout the organization.
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights and strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Partner with leadership to create and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and values.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to assess and address any gaps in HR processes and practices, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to managers on effective people management, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
  • Stay current on HR trends, industry standards, and employment laws to ensure the organization remains compliant and up to date.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and innovation.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Proven experience in office management and human resources, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of HR regulations and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
