Junior Financial Analyst

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will support the finance team by providing financial analysis, reporting, and modeling. You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance to support the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
    • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecasts, providing explanations for variances.
  • Data Management:
    • Gather and organize financial data from various sources for analysis.
    • Maintain and update financial models and databases.
  • Support Senior Analysts:
    • Provide analytical support to senior financial analysts and management.
    • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
    • Assist in the implementation of best practices and financial controls.


  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Internship or 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
