Position Overview:
If you are a motivated and experienced Automobile Mechanic looking to join a fast-growing and innovative company, we invite you to become part of our client's dynamic team. As an Auto Mechanic, you will utilize your expertise in various areas of automotive repair to ensure vehicles are repaired to our company's high standards and exceed customer expectations.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles in accordance with company standards, covering areas such as brakes, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning, steering, suspension, transmission, electrical, and internal engine repairs.
- Utilize your own tools and provided shop equipment to efficiently and accurately complete all repairs.
- Document all repairs using our advanced vehicle tracking software system to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Assist in supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the lead technician, ensuring smooth shop operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology, industry trends, and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting workplace safety and efficiency.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High School Diploma (HSD) or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED).
- Knowledge and expertise in various areas of automotive repair, including brakes, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning, steering, suspension, transmission, electrical, and internal engine repairs.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to performing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Valid state driver's license for conducting test drives.
Schedule: 12-hour shift/Rotating shift (3 on, 4 off)
Monday to Friday (Day and evening shifts available.)
Location: Oxford, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Pay Rate: $20-$45hr (Depending on experience)
