Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of job postings and requisitions.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct interviews across all levels.
  • Manage all aspects of new hire documentation and onboarding process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Policy Implementation, Employee Relations, and Performance Management:

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and update the Employee Handbook as needed.
  • Foster positive work relationships and enhance productivity and retention.
  • Oversee employee performance goals and evaluations.
  • Support in reviewing employee data for corrective action or termination.
  • Handle unemployment claims and participate in hearings.

Employee Benefits:

  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and communicate benefits to employees.
  • Liaise with carriers to address employee concerns and process changes.
  • Assist employees with benefits changes due to life events.
  • Ensure compliance with retirement benefits.

Personnel Files:

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
  • Ensure ongoing personnel file maintenance and compliance.
  • Manage employee contracts and updates as required.
  • Maintain compliance with terminated employee files.

Administration:

  • Oversee office administration for the company.
  • Assist in coordinating company-wide events and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and/or Business Management required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Generalist/Management role.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
