Position Overview:

The E&I Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating instrumentation and control systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems as well as specialized knowledge in instrumentation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of instrumentation and control systems including but not limited to pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, temperature controllers, and analyzers.

·       Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of instrumentation equipment.

·       Calibrate instruments according to established procedures and industry standards.

·       Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and implement improvements to instrumentation systems.

·       Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

·       Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, calibration reports, and equipment history.

·       Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical and instrumentation equipment.

·       Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in instrumentation and control systems.

 

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills:

·       Industrial maintenance experience in electrical and instrumentation systems (2+ years)

·       Experience with AC/DC drive systems

·       Work with high voltage electrical equipment

·       Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and determine root cause failure of operational problems

·       Ability to repair plant machinery and equipment

·       Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, electrical drawings and diagrams, schematics and equipment manuals and be capable of applying knowledge of written information
