                                                Maintenance Mechanic 

TalentBridge is partnered with a local manufacturing operation and are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our textile/non-woven manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in working with Electrical and hydraulic equipment and have a background in textiles or non-wovens. Previous experience understanding and troubleshooting relay logic systems is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of textile/non-woven manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Utilize your proficiency in relay logic systems to diagnose and rectify electrical and control system malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to switches, sensors, timers, and other components of the relay logic system.
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify potential hydraulic system failures and address them proactively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacement
  • Create reports detailing equipment status, maintenance performed, and any required follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime periods.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to optimize equipment performance and reliability
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards within the maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred with 3-5 years of hands on progressive experience. High school diploma or equivalent with additional experience also considered.
  • Proficiency in working with relay logic systems, including diagnosing and rectifying electrical issues.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Salary Range: $28-30hr (can go north depending on experience). 
Shift: 7PM – 3AM Saturday Rotating Shift
